my story

“Adam Audlehelm is a fine art photographer, analog printmaker, internationally touring musician, and founder of Still Here Photography. Rooted in a lifelong commitment to uplifting underdogs and ‘outcasts,’ Adam creates timeless, authentic images that reveal the beauty of resilience, especially within goth and alternative communities. After spending most of their life managing in the culinary world and performing music on the road, they now channel that discipline and stage-honed sense of atmosphere into darkly elegant, album‑art‑inspired portraits and hands‑on alternative process prints. Adam’s work has appeared in multiple exhibitions; Purchase award recipient in the permanent collection MCC, they are a commissioned alt‑process artist, premier event photographer for Coven Bar in Omaha, NE, and a member of the Link Gallery Co‑op. styling process

Styling with Still Here Photography is collaborative and intentional. Before we shoot, we talk about how you want to be seen, pulling from your favorite music, albums, and fashion, then build a look around that. You bring a few outfits and accessories that feel like you; I fine-tune what works best on camera, paying attention to shape, texture, and how it fits the mood. On set, I use light, environment, and subtle direction so you end up with portraits that feel like a truer, elevated version of yourself—dark, atmospheric, and album‑cover ready—without losing who you are.
